The Fouga Magister story

The Fouga Magister story begins in 1948, when the French Fouga company sat down to design the best glider in the world; A glider that is stunning in its beauty, easy to control and efficient like no other. Fouga’s experience in gliders, dating back to the Second World War, allowed the company to design a civilian sport glider – the stunning CM8.

All the flight tests showed that it is really great, with a wide V-shaped tail, which saves weight and achieves the same effect as a three-surface tail, but following the initiative of one of the engineers, it was decided to design the glider with an engine, and it was decided after a series of experiments and finally the Turbomeca engine was chosen , and the result was the CM170 Magister that first flew in 1952.

Respite was designed to be an advanced training aircraft, cheap to operate and with performance good enough to simulate a jet fighter. It kept all the features of the Down, first of all maximum simplicity designed to save weight.

The plane proved to be extremely safe: the long wings provide good lift and an excellent hover ratio of 13:1.

Many countries were enthusiastic about this aircraft and bought it for their training sets and aerobatic teams; A total of 929 were produced of all models, and the Air Force of the State of Israel also came into the picture, and after several tests, the CM170 Fouga was chosen, but on one condition: that Israel would be able to produce these on its own, and in fact to do this the industries that began to specialize in the production of aircraft themselves were established, and not Only specializing in repair and maintenance, and this actually created the infrastructure for self-production of the first airplane in Israel, called TZUKIT, which caused great pride, and was one of the foundations for the establishment of an advanced and highly developed industry in the State of Israel

Further to all of this, our vision and goal was to design and produce the model of the Fouga Magister, which caused so much pride in Israel, and was, among other things, one of the greatest foundations for the emergence of the Israeli Air Force as one of the best forces in the world.

The model was developed during the last 16 years with use of the original full-scale plans of the airplane.
The goal was to present an exact full-scale model, to the RC Jet Market, with a high competition level and still be an ARF without compromises.

As for now, it is one of The Most Highly detailed ARF in the RC Jet Market.
The model is an ARF, so it can easily be brought to a standard of scale Competition model.
We think that one can go wild with its scale Abilities.

The First Prototype was completed on October 2009,
and the planes that were marketed all over the world, after the prototype went through a long series of tests, flew and, of course, still fly with great success.

6 full flights were made of the prototype on the first day of flights. The test pilot was Mr. Ophir Babish, who performed the 6 perfect flights.

After evaluation and investigation, the main conclusion was that there is no need for basic structural changes, and in fact the model, which was designed and developed exactly like the real plane, was a great success directly in its flight in the air.

After that, the prototype underwent a series of comprehensive tests in the air in a variety of situations and cases, and passed them with complete satisfaction

After the series of tests, the model was officially presented and flown at the Florida Jet event, by Ali Machinci and received numerous and impressive praises.

During the last years we made some Scale improvement including full scale Fowler flaps, and has Aluminum rails and Bearings as the full size.
